Several years ago, I attended a class taught by and well-known homemaking guru, Daryl Hoole. One of her many bits of advice was to do "Something that Stays Done" every day. I have followed this advice off and on, but want to make it a habit in 2011!

P.S. To see the blog that inspired me to get started and to see more great ideas of things to get done, check out dirtylittlesecrets2010.blogspot.com. Thanks, Becky!

Another shelf

I cleared off the shelf under the T.V. today.
What I really wanted to do was hide the cords behind the wall,
but that will have to be something for another day.
I used a couple of twist-ties on them for now.
I found this little beauty behind the shelf...
"Elmo's Potty Time"
The 2-year-old boy is watching it as I type.
Good timing, I'd say!

P.S.
One great thing that has happened since I started this project is that I have emptied
several bins and baskets so when I need one, I don't have to look far.
The basket on the bottom shelf fits perfectly
and holds all the surround sound speakers that need to be hooked up one day.
I'll get to that when I hide the cords behind the wall!
