Several years ago, I attended a class taught by and well-known homemaking guru, Daryl Hoole. One of her many bits of advice was to do "Something that Stays Done" every day. I have followed this advice off and on, but want to make it a habit in 2011!

P.S. To see the blog that inspired me to get started and to see more great ideas of things to get done, check out dirtylittlesecrets2010.blogspot.com. Thanks, Becky!

Something from the Husband!

The husband had the whole week.
He decided to take advantage of the 45 degree weather.
He put the boys to work in the yard.
Here's some of what they accomplished.
He even had the 13-year-old mow (or at least clean the lawn with the mower)!
The 13-year-old said it was embarrassing when the neighbors would drive by
and see that he was mowing in December!
Then he took the table I made last week to the scout closet at the church
along with a pile of tents that have been in the garage since the summer.
I don't think yard work was on my boys' list of things to do for their winter break,
but it sure makes the upcoming Springtime easier.
